in The Bahamas. However there is much useful material here
which will
be of interest
to music lovers worldwide.

to find information on the examinations offered in The Bahamas by
the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. You will
find prices and a link to download an entry form. Syllabi, theory workbooks and
practical albums specific to these exams can be obtained locally from me - check out the list on the products page or contact me.
You can now access information
on the BGCSE
music examination, including notes on the Set Works, quizes and past
papers. At a later date help with the practical element of the exam
will be on this site.
I am available to facilitate workshops in New Providence and the Family Islands.Topics include: BGCSE Set Works (2012-2013) Fresh Ideas for Teaching Music in the Primary School; Strategies for Teaching Music Listening in Junior High; Planning to Teach music (how to create great lesson plans and teach great lessons); Introduction to Finale © music notation software I & II; Arranging for Band using Finale©. In addition I am also available to conduct band workshops with your school, church or community band.

band page will be designed to assist instrumental teachers
in their quest for the ultimate
band sound.
It will also contain a section for students entitled "Practice
Makes Perfect' offering tips on the monster that most kids try to
avoid. Band and ensemble
arrangements suitable for beginner and 2nd year band are now available for sale in the products
section.
All
teachers complain about a lack of resources. In the resource
pages you will find an extensive list of resources which
will help make your life easier. It will include a listing of
reputable music shops, which are willing to ship to international destinations.
